FAQs
I don't live in New Zealand, will the content still be relevant to me?
Yes! While most of our members are in New Zealand, we have members who are in the USA, England and Australia. The content is created to be relevant no matter where you live.
I don't have a website, do I need one before I join?
No! Artists at all stages are welcome to the group. You do not need to have a website. In fact, the experience of the artists within the group will likely help you build your website when you are ready to do so.
What if I can't make the live calls?
We understand that you have a busy life and the information is created and recorded with that in mind. A recording of all sessions is sent to you after each session so you can watch whenever it works best for you.
What kind of information is within The Membership Portal?
All previous workshops and trainings have been recorded and saved within the group for all to watch.
Previous workshop topics include;

Do you need to be experienced or have an established business to join?
Artists at all levels are within the Unleash Your Art Membership. There is no requirement to join except for needing a positive, encouraging and motivated energy! The content is created to benefit artists at all levels. The mix of experiences make this a rich learning space for all!.
How long do I need to join the membership for?
We would obviously love you to stay a while, but if for any reason the membership isn’t right for you, you are able to cancel at that time (just give notice the month prior to your next payment and we’ll cancel your subscription immediately).
About Lucy
Hi, I'm Lucy Melville, artist & founder of the Unleash Your Art Membership. I love to paint and teach others how to sell their art with authenticity and confidence.
I started creating as a child with the guidance of my talented grandmother Ethel. I loved painting throughout my school years, but in my 20s neglected my creative side and became caught up in my career until a major head injury changed everything.
Painting became an amazing part of my recovery which resulted in me building my creative business using the skills I had gained during my 15-year corporate career.
In 2021 I decided to take the plunge and leave my job as a business leader in construction to pursue my creative passions. I now spend my days painting and coaching other artists to support them in building their own creative businesses.
My goal, passion and purpose in life is to help other artists see how unique and important their talent is to the world, and to help them realise their dreams of being paid doing what they love.
I’m so proud of what we’ve created in the Unleash Your Art Membership. It’s a place you can come and feel safe sharing your art, your goals, and your heart. Women come in wanting to learn how to grow their businesses. They stay because of the personal growth and sisterhood they find.
