8 years ago:
I was confident in bursts, but unsure how to show up consistently or speak about my art with clarity. Posting online felt awkward and exposing. I thought selling was only possible through events or exhibitions, and I had no idea how to create opportunities on my own. I often felt stuck — waiting for permission, feeling lost, and unsure where to start.
My world now:
I figured out how to show up consistently — and do it with authenticity, not pressure. I’ve built a rhythm that feels like me, not a version of what I thought I had to be. Most of my sales now come from strangers who discovered my work because I was willing to be visible, share my story, and trust the process. I don’t wait to feel ready. I lead with belief, and that belief has helped me build real momentum.
I used to cross my fingers and hope someone would reach out. Now, people connect with my words, my story, and my art, and buy without me chasing them.
I don't force content, or copy what other artists are doing.
Instead, I’ve built clarity around why I create and practiced how to share that with authenticity.
